Rip, Zip & Dip – E-Bike, Zipline & Mud Pool: frequently asked questions

What is the Rip Zip & Dip tour in Fiji?

Rip Zip & Dip is a 7-hour multi-activity day tour in Sabeto Valley near Nadi, Fiji, operated by Discover Fiji. It combines an electric-bike ride through the countryside, a zipline flight over the jungle canopy, a soak in the Tifajek mud pools and hot springs, and a 4WD ride to an organic farm for a cooked Fijian lunch. It costs FJ$385 per person and includes return transfers from Nadi, Denarau and Wailoaloa.

How much does Rip Zip & Dip cost?

FJ$385 per person. The price includes all entrance fees, an e-bike ride, the zipline flight, mud pool entry, a Rosie tour guide, organic farm lunch, free WiFi and return 4WD transfers from Nadi, Denarau and Wailoaloa hotels. A surcharge applies for pick-ups outside those areas.

How long is the tour and what time does it run?

The tour runs approximately 7 hours door to door, including transfers, so it fills a full day. Exact pick-up time is confirmed at booking based on your hotel location in the Nadi area.

What is the minimum age for Rip Zip & Dip?

16 years and over. The e-bike ride and zipline both require riders to be at least 16, and the group size is capped at 11 guests.

Where does Rip Zip & Dip take place?

In the Sabeto Valley on Viti Levu, about 20-30 minutes inland from Nadi International Airport, beneath the Sleeping Giant mountain range. The mud pool stop is the Tifajek Mud Pool and Hot Springs.

What should I bring on the tour?

Closed shoes, swimmers, a towel, a refillable water bottle, sunscreen and a camera. The mud stains light-coloured swimwear, so bring something you do not mind getting muddy.

Do I need to be fit or experienced to do this tour?

No specialist experience is needed. The bikes are pedal-assist electric bikes on gentle countryside tracks, and the zipline is fully guided with harness and helmet supplied. A basic level of mobility is required to mount the bike, climb the zipline platform and step into the mud pools.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure, or a no-show, incur a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellations made earlier than 24 hours are not charged.

Is hotel pick-up included?

Yes. Return 4WD transfers are included from hotels in the Nadi, Denarau and Wailoaloa areas. Guests staying elsewhere (for example Coral Coast or Lautoka) can join with a transfer surcharge confirmed at booking.

Is lunch included and are dietary needs catered for?

A hearty cooked Fijian lunch at an organic farm is included. Vegetarian and common dietary requirements can be arranged when you note them at the time of booking.
